Other Works/Achievements
SYN-Phon
During my Digital Audio Arts degree at the University of Lethbridge, I completed an independent study in Film Scoring. My most ambitious project was SYN-Phon in which I used Turkish artist Candas Sisman’s visual score as inspiration for my own piece. Permission was granted by Candas to re-score his visual creation which later resulted in it being exhibited by Candas in Turkey in Summer of 2021.
I chose sounds and wrote parts by interpreting the images shape into timbre and loosely aligning pitch with height in the frame. I primarily used Omnisphere and Vienna Symphonic Library to compose this work.

Hair: The Musical
Between March and July of 2021 I was sound designer for a production of Hair performed in Olds, which was presented by Brown Cow Collective. Due to COVID indoor gathering restrictions, I was not able to record other musicians, and thus learned the score (fifty numbers after cuts) and created each track for the live performances.
This COVID-era show sold out for its entire two week run, and was attended and reported on by numerous news outlets.
Boreal Sons: Threadbare
Starting in 2018 as a study and extra-curricular project, I began making orchestral arrangements of Boreal Sons’ 2014 album Threadbare. Through my University experience in orchestration and composition, I furthered my study with previous textbooks and more advanced orchestral scores to allow myself a self-teaching experience.
I am currently half way through the album and have orchestrated for multiple ensemble sizes and atypical instruments.
